Configuration and Diagnostics Tool for the LiNX Wheelchair System

INTENDED USE

Use the LiNX Access iOS tool on your iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone in conjunction with an authorized LiNX Access Key to configure wheelchair performance parameters for the Dynamic Controls LiNX wheelchair control system.

• Graphical programming offers an intuitive interface for adjusting wheelchair performance through touch and drag control points.
• Live Diagnostics delivers real-time graphical data on critical wheelchair performance factors such as joystick demand, motor current, and battery status.
• Live Edit permits instant wheelchair performance configuration changes to be written directly to the wheelchair, facilitating rapid customization of the riding experience.
• Wheelchair diagnostic information is instantaneously updated to the LiNX Access iOS tool whenever errors occur or get resolved.
• Secure pairing with your LiNX Access Key allows swift connections to any LiNX system via the XLR port after initial setup.
• LiNX Access iOS wheelchair configuration files (.lci) are compatible with the LiNX Access PC tool for added convenience.

Authorized users comprise Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and their approved distribution channels (Dealers/Providers, Therapists, and Wheelchair Service Technicians). Non-authorized users may access the tool to retrieve wheelchair configuration and diagnostic information from a stored file through default access levels.

Access Levels:

• Default: Allows receiving a LiNX wheelchair file via email or other file sharing methods to view read-only Distributor level configuration and diagnostics information.
• Distributor: Permits connecting to a LiNX wheelchair system using a distributor level LiNX Access Key (DLX-HKEY01-A) to read and configure basic wheelchair performance parameters.
• Manufacturer: Empowers connecting to a LiNX wheelchair system via a manufacturer level LiNX Access Key (DLX-HKEY02-A) to read and configure high-level wheelchair performance parameters.

WARNINGS

• Prior to configuring a controller, ensure you read the LiNX Access User Manual along with the applicable System/Controller/Module Installation Manual(s).
• All performance adjustments should be supervised by healthcare professionals or individuals fully knowledgeable about parameter settings, adjustment processes, vehicle configurations, and driver capabilities to avoid potential hazards. Improper settings can render the vehicle uncontrollable or unstable, leading to risky situations such as crashes, serious injuries to drivers or bystanders, or damage to property.
• In 'Live Edit' mode, where each parameter change is applied instantly without power cycling, users must be cautious as it leads to immediate alterations in wheelchair performance. Note: Safety critical configuration parameters are exempted from the Live Edit function.
